Our Values Program

This program is led by our educators each day. We begin our morning group time, where we introduce and discuss a specific value through engaging stories and meaningful real-life scenarios.

In the afternoon, we reflect on how the value was seen or demonstrated throughout the day, allowing children to connect deeply with what they’ve learned.

When children actively live out these values, they are celebrated with a special ‘Value Award’, reinforcing the importance of positive behaviour and character.

Our days are also grounded in moments of stillness, meditation, and gratitude, giving children the opportunity to pause, reflect, and appreciate the world around them.

What does this look like…

Our daily conversations and learning experiences about Values are gently woven into the everyday experiences of the children. It’s not about formal lessons, but more about sharing simple, meaningful messages like kindness, compassion, honesty, and respect in ways that are easy for young minds to understand, and this is done each morning and afternoon at our group time.

Through stories, songs, and conversations, we help children explore these values in a calm and supportive environment. Whether it’s learning to be a good friend, showing empathy, or giving thanks, we connect these moments back to the core messages found in leading by Values.

It’s all about planting seeds of love, care, and community, helping children grow into kind and thoughtful individuals, while feeling safe, valued, and connectedWe also draw from the Nine Values of Australian Schooling, and also reflect on the unique values within our community that we believe will help our children to be surrounded by, to witness, and to share with others.
